not well

Medicine

I think I have a headcold, felt like shite today, started my day off with a Lemsip and a Coldrex this morning, made it through work okay but since geting home I feel worse than ever. Have had another Lemsip and will have a Nurofen and Coldrex just before bed.

My Elliptical Trainer was delivered today (now known as Elli), but until the MIL leaves I don't really have the space to put it up (need the spare room) so I may not be able to try it out for a few weeks (unless hubby can't help himself as he's dying to 'try out my new toy', mind you neither can I). I am hoping I can drag myself out of bed a little earlier every morning and give it a go before starting off the day but then I'm not sure if winter is the best time for anything so drastic.

Connor had Hiphop after school tonight so I zipped down to the supermarket to get a few odds and sods for dinner which tonight is Pasta. The good about thing about Pasta is that it is a dish hubby prepares, therefore I get a night off from cooking. YAY.

1- thanks for visiting my blog
2- Bugger about the cold, know how you are feeling!
3- Set Elli up in the lounge, there is NO TIME like the present! Do not put it off, you will thank me for it, I promise!
If it takes up too much room, put it in the garage and park the car outside. Winter is no excuse girl, you will get all hot and bothered on Elli and won't even notice it's friggin cold! I suppose you will have to wait till you are over the cold though, good excuse there! But not for long ok? Can ya tell I'm a bossy tart? lol

Hi Nic! Welcome to blogging. You've done really well so far with your weight loss. About the Scottish thing, I think I've done about as much as I can (without spending a fortune) as the records before 1855 in most cases don't seem to be there. If you have any suggestions that might help that would be great.

Thought I would say hi! Very interested in the Scotthish research. Both my parents came from Scotland and immigrated to NZ. Would love to know more about our family.

Snap! Have read the Time Travellers Wife - didn't think I would enjoy it but it blew me away. So well written and very clever, and tear jerking. Also have a grandson Jordyn.

Hope you get a lot out of blogging - I'm sure it will help you!
