another 300g dites the dust


Yay a 300g loss today. Now I am quite happy with that as I had a bottle of wine at the weekend (all by myself no less), the evil chocolate cake and I'm not all together to sure if I had a single day under my points (which are probably too high now, I think I need to re-do them). I was happy to stay under 80kg but I took the loss and got out of that building as quick as I could.

Now this week I am trying very hard to stay as good as possible. I have my sons birthday, my daughters birthday, a sleepover which will involve a trip to the movies (Spiderman 3), which of course can only mean one thing...popcorn.

A friend from work had a phone call today from her daughters school to say that her 11 yo had had a seizure and was being taken to hospital. She had one last week as well which was her first but the hospital didn't do any tests just said if it happened again then they would, so today she had a second one, hopefully they will get to the bottom of it, it's scary to think this could happen to anyone, anytime.

As it was weighday today I treated myself to sushi for lunch, usually I have the Tasty Tuna but today I fancied something different so I tried 'Teriyaki Salmon' which was very very nice.

Dinner tonight was Salt & Pepper Chicken, Roasted Kumara, Potato, Pumpkin & Carrots with Peas and Corn.

I would be happy with that loss too! Resist the popcorn or you will put it all back on again! Sometimes we can have a semi naughty week and still lose, but it can come back and bite ya in the butt the next week, so be careful this week and it should stay off. Have a great weekend.

I had a bad week last week but this week it is going to good (fingers crossed, and toes, and eyes he he he).

Well done for the loss.

I hope that your friends daughter is ok... some kids have seisures from flouresent lights don't they. I hope that is what it is.

The movie popcorn is sooo bad for you!! (covered in butter) You could get some Act2 light butter microwave stuff and nuke it before you go, sneak it in a bag. Can't remember the points on it but a lot lower than the other stuff.

Re: your comment ... the reason for my ankle locking up is the tendon at the bottom of the calf muscle is getting caught behind the plate they put in. It comes free every now and then but only with the skilled hands of a physiotherapist. Hence why I'm pleased to be getting the plate out. They are just going to check that there isn't a secondary reason for it locking up, but at this stage it looks pretty clear that's what's happening.

First of all...WELL DONE ON THE 300G LOSS THIS WEEK!!!

Try popping your own popcorn, it is a fraction of the points and you could sprinkle it with allsorts i.e salt, honey, options drinking choccy powder and it should stick nicely as the popcorn will be warm, WOW! There are loads of different ideas infact that would be good thing to ask folk to comment about, idea's for popcorn toppings.

It makes me so angry to think that a man is even allowed to qualify as a gynae AND in many cases as it was for Chris, women are FORCED to see a male gynae because there are no females gynae's avaialable....NO TO MALE GYNAE'S - ooops here I go again...sorry

Any loss is a good one - so well done! Scary for your friend with her daugher - hope they can sort out what is causing it.
